Neighborhood Beat is a series spotlighting Brooklyn's diverse neighborhoods, produced, hosted and directed by local leaders and residents. Produced by Kuye Harris and Kecia Cole.

Facilitated by Brooklyn Independent Television and produced with local neighborhood leaders and residents, Neighborhood Beat highlights Brooklyn's many diverse neighborhoods, with a different show each month

Current featured neighborhoods include The View from Bay Ridge, hosted by Larry Morrish, Chuck Otey, and Liz Gassimi; The Bed-Stuy Parlor, hosted by Monique Greenwood Pogue; Williamsburg / Greenpoint, hosted by Aaron Watkins; Bushwick, also hosted by Aaron Watkins; BoCoCa (Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens), hosted by Carroll Garden resident Reg Ferguson and Cobble Hill's own singing chef Jackie Gordon; Flatbush, hosted by Melissa Jones and Jeffori Terry; Canarsie, hosted by Alyson Lynch; and DUMBO, hosted Kecia Cole. Also featured is the monthly Special that includes stories from a variety of Brooklyn neighborhoods.

Neighborhood Beat can be seen weeknights at 8:30pm in Brooklyn on Time Warner Cable channel 56 and Cablevision channel 69. New episodes premiere every Thursday with a different neighborhood. It is also streamed live on the web at www.briconline.org/bcat and can be viewed by clicking on the "Past Episodes" link for each neighborhood show.
