Our Programs

BRIC Arts|Media|Bklyn presents quality contemporary, performing and media arts programs that reflect Brooklyn's diverse communities, and provides resources and platforms to support the creative process.

All our offerings are free, or low cost, to enhance the public's access to and understanding of arts and media.

BRIC Community Media

BRIC Community Media programs include the BCAT TV Network, the BCAT Media Center, the Brooklyn Center for Media Education, and three programming initiatives including Brooklyn Independent Television, Brooklyn Free Speech TV, and Brooklyn Bulletin Board. Together, these community media programs provide a voice for all the people of Brooklyn.

BRIC Contemporary Art

BRIC Contemporary Art presents exhibitions, public events, and an innovative arts education program at BRIC Rotunda Gallery and around the borough. Our aim is to increase the visibility and accessibility of contemporary art while bridging the gap between the art world and global culture in Brooklyn.

BRIC Performing Arts

BRIC Performing Arts programs present emerging and established artists in music, dance, theater and multidisciplinary performance to broad audiences from Brooklyn and throughout New York City, and support the development of new work. Signature programs include the Celebrate Brooklyn! Performing Arts Festival, which presents presents a summer season of free performances at the Prospect Park Bandshell, and BRIClab, a commissioning and residency program presented at BRICstudio.
